Please excuse my long absence. My wife gave birth to our youngest (fifth) child on April 3rd, and I’m still recovering from the sympathy pains.
Yesterday our second-born, Genevieve, whose nickname is Jim, reminded me why I started posting here in the first place.
“You’re going to be the king of everything,” says Jim.
“How?” I ask.
“You just have to get used to it. If you don’t get used to it, you’ll never know you’re king of everything.”
She adds, somehow making whole sense of all her preceding points, ”Everyone is kings and queens of everything, because they’re ladies and men.”
I agree with her.
Please thank Jim for nudging you to share this bit of true wisdom.
Best kind of pains to have.
